La Union to Baguio

Upon waking up, we immediately rushed to the beach to swim and took a lot of pictures.

We had our breakfast at Coast Call Kitchen & Bar of San Juan Surf Resort, it's a peaceful place with a relaxing and cozy mood to spend your spare time. The food was scrumptious that made us so ready for the next trip.

From Urbiztondo San Juan La Union we rode a jeepney going to San Fernando La Union Market where we will ride a bus going to Baguio. It will only cost you P10.00 for the fare. We dropped off at the Victory Liner bus station. The travel from La Union to Baguio will take you a couple of hours.

There were just a couple of reasons why we went to Baguio.

First, was just to pick some strawberries and second, to experience the midnight market at Harrison Road Baguio City. If you don't know the whereabouts of places in Baguio, you can always take taxis and tell them where are you heading to.

We took a taxi going to La Trinidad Benguet where you can pick fresh strawberries at the farm. We also tried their strawberry taho and strawberry ice cream and bought some pasalubongs.

After that, we went to Camp John Hay where you can relax with the cold breeze. We didn't dare to stroll the whole place because it is a vast place and we are not so familiar with it.

Next thing we knew we were already in a American Vintage restaurant. I always love vintage! 50's Diner at Baguio is an affordable restaurant if you're a budget traveller, not only that it is affordable but really delicious.

We went to experienced their Midnight Market at Harrison Road for our last activity. My favourite part, thrift shopping!!! The stuffs were so cheap that it made me difficult to choose what to buy. But if you are really on a tight budget, you can always haggle with the storekeeper. If you are tired from your shopping moments, you can pause for a while and eat some street foods from the stalls at the end of the street.
